The International Youth Theatre is an initiative of the Arts Office, Limerick County Council in partnership with the Friars’ Gate Theatre Education and Outreach Department and Doras Luimni. We run weekly drama workshops during the school year and have two performances a year in which members may participate as cast or crew to develop their theatre skills, creativity and confidence whilst enhancing their academic abilities.
The International Youth Theatre promotes integration and inclusion in all its work and has a membership of young people of diverse ethnic background. We meet as part of the outreach project at Scoil Carmel School Hall, O'Connell Avenue, Limerick. Thursdays 3.30 -5.30pm during term time and have a variety of events during the school holidays.
